AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER

LAST NIGHT WAS A GOOD NIGHT! AIDEN AND AUSTIN GOT TO MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME! WE FINALLY HAD OUR FIRST REAL FAMILY PHOTO AND THAT WAS SUCH A WONDERFUL FEELING. AIDEN GOT MOVED TO A ISOLETTE, WHICH IS AN UPGRADE FOR HIM. HIS BODY DID REJECT THE FEEDING, BUT THEY SAY THAT IS NORMAL FOR PREEMIES. SO WE PRAY THAT HE WILL START EATING SOON! THEY STILL HAVE NOT STARTED AUSTIN'S MEDICINE. THEY ARE DOING TESTS AND ANOTHER ULTRASOUND TO CHECK HIS LIVER AND GALLBLADDER THE GASTRO DOCTOR SHOULD BE BACK ON MONDAY. SO WE PRAY THAT ALL OF THE TEST COME BACK NORMAL AND GOD GIVES MOMMY AND DADDY SOME PEACE.
TODAY WAS NOT SUCH A GOOD DAY. AUSTIN SCARED MOMMY AND DADDY TO DEATH. HE WAS NOT BREATHING GOOD WHEN WE GOT OVER THERE. THEY HAD TO RETUBE HIM AND PUT HIM BACK ON HIS VENTALATOR. IT WAS SO SCARY AND HARD TO SIT THERE AND WATCH HIM STRUGGLE AND KNOW THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO TO MAKE HIM BETTER. WE JUST WANTED TO PICK HIM UP AND MAKE HIM BETTER. SO PLEASE PRAY THAT HE WILL GET BETTER SOON. IT BREAKS OUR HEARTS TO SEE HIM THIS WAY. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY THAT GOD WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE US PATIENCE AND STRENGTH TO GET TO THE END OF THIS EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ENCOURAGING WORDS. WE READ THE COMMENTS EVERYDAY AND IT LIFTS US UP TO KNOW YOU ALL ARE PRAYING FOR OUR FAMILY. WE LOVE YOU ALL!!
R.J.,JENN, AIDEN,AND AUSTIN

RJ and Jennifer,
Today I attended mass at St. Vincent's and asked the Priest to visit the boys. The Priest may already be visiting them, but just wanted to make sure. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jennifer and R.J.,

Just a little note to let you know I am thinking and praying for you. I was glad to hear about how well Aiden is doing. Don't worry, Austin will catch up soon and you will have both of these little one's at home. Just be strong for them. God is always watching over them. He will help them to continue to improve each day. Try to get some rest yourself, so you will have lots of energy when they are able to come home.

Love,
Nicole
