WE HAD AUSTIN'S TEST DONE THIS MORNING AND I WISH I COULD SAY THAT WE GOT ALL GOOD REPORTS, BUT UNFORTUNATLY I CAN'T. WE DID THE ULTRASOUND FIRST AND THEY SAID THAT THERE WERE "FINDINGS" ON HIS EXAM. THEY CHANGED HIS UPPER GI TO A SMALL BOWEL FOLLOW THROUGH SO THEY COULD LOOK MORE CLOSELY AT THE SMALL BOWEL. THIS TEST DID COME BACK NORMAL EXCEPT FOR THE REFLUX, BUT WE EXPECTED THAT. WE DIDN'T EXPECT HIS ULTRASOUND TO SHOW ANYTHING.. WE HAVE NOT GOTTEN THE OFFICIAL REPORT FROM OUR GI DOCTOR, BUT THEY DID SAY THAT THE LYMPH NODES ON HIS BOWEL WALL WERE SWOLLEN. I'M NOT REAL SURE WHAT THIS MEANS OR IF IT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE REASON HE PROJECTILE VOMITS. IT MAY NOT BE ANYTHING , BUT ALL WE CAN DO IS WAIT AND PRAY THAT WE HEAR SOME GOOD NEWS FROM DR. MESTRE SOON. IT'S SO HARD NOT KNOWING AND HAVING TO WAIT FOR RESULTS WHEN YOU KNOW THE TEST WAS NOT COMPLETLY NORMAL. I JUST WANT TO HEAR THAT MY BABY IS OKAY! HE A STRONG LITTLE MAN AND HAS ALREADY BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH AND I KNOW HE WILL GET THROUGH THIS! THANK YOU TO ALL THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE AT CHILDREN'S FOR TAKING CARE OF MY SWEET BOY TODAY!
