FIRST DAY OF 3 YEAR OLD PRE-SCHOOL!!

YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW CRAZY IT WAS TRYING TO GET THE BOYS READY, JAX FED AND OUT THE DOOR IN TIME FOR SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY. SO I DO NOT HAVE VERY MANY PICTURES. THANKS TO GI GI, SHE STOPPED BYE ON HER WAY OUT TO WORK AND SNAPPED THIS FAMILY PHOTO FOR US. THE BOYS WERE SO EXCITED ABOUT GOING BACK TO SCHOOL, BUT WHEN WE GOT THERE IT WAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY. AIDEN HAS THE STRICTER TEACHER OF THEM ALL, MRS. MARCIA AND THEY WERE ALL ALREADY IN CIRCLE TIME AND HE DID NOT WANT TO GO IN. HE GRABBED MY LEG AND DID NOT WANT TO LET GO. MRS. SHELLY (TEACHER ASSISTANT) PICKED HIM UP AND CARRIED HIM IN. IT ABOUT BROKE MY HEART BECAUSE HE IS USUALLY REALLY GOOD WITH THOSE KIND OF THINGS. I HAVE HEARD ALOT OF GREAT THINGS ABOUT MRS. MARCIA AND HE SEEMS TO ALREADY LOVE HER AND MRS. SHELLY. AUSTIN ON THE OTHER HAND WALKED RIGHT ON IN HIS CLASSROOM AND STARTED MESSING WITH SOME OF THEIR "JOBS". DADDY WALKED IN WITH HIM WHILE I STOOD AT THE DOOR WATCHING AIDEN. HE ENDED UP SITTING IN MRS MARCIA LAP AND WAS SMILING BY THE TIME WE LEFT. AUSTIN WAS GREAT UNTIL IT WAS TIME FOR DADDY TO LEAVE AND THEN HE LOST IT . HE WAS CRYING SO HARD I THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO MAKE HIMSELF SICK. HE TOLD US ALL MORNING THAT HE WANTED TO GO TO AIDEN'S CLASSROOM. MRS. PORTIA (TEACHER ASSISTANT) FINALLY HAD TO GRAB HIM AND HE SAT IN HER LAP. HE WAS FINE WHEN WE LEFT, BUT DADDY AND I BOTH WANTED TO CRY! IT WAS SO SAD BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALWAYS HAD EACH OTHER AND THEY DID NOT WANT TO BE SPLIT UP. I HAVE TO SAY I THINK IT HAS BEEN AND WILL BE THE BEST THING FOR THEM BOTH. THEY WERE SO HAPPY WHEN I PICKED THEM UP AND YESTERDAY THEY WALKED RIGHT IN BY THEMSELVES AND AIDEN ONLY CRIED FOR A SECOND WHEN THEY HAD TO GO TO THEIR OWN CLASSES. WHEN I PICKED THEM UP YESTERDAY THEY WERE SO HAPPY TO SEE EACH OTHER. DURING LUNCH THEY DID NOT KNOW I WAS LISTENING TO THEM AND THEY WERE JUST A TALKING ABOUT ALL THEIR JOBS THEY DID AT SCHOOL AND ABOUT PLAYING OUTSIDE. IT WAS SO SWEET TO JUST SIT AND LISTEN TO THEM AND THEY WERE SHARING ALL OF THEIR GRAPES WITH EACH OTHER. I THINK THEY MISSED EACH OTHER AND MAYBE THEY WILL NOT FIGHT AS MUCH NOW:)!! I AM EXCITED FOR THEM AND BELIEVE THIS WILL BE A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR FOR THEM BOTH. AUSTIN'S TEACHERS NAME IS MRS. TONI AND BEFORE SHE BECAME A MONTESSORI TEACHER SHE WAS A NICU NURSE, SO THAT MADE ME FEEL REALLY GOOD. HE WILL BEGIN HIS SPEECH THERAPY ON WEDNESDAY, SO HOPEFULLY THAT WILL HELP HIM TOO. I HAVE ALREADY NOTICED A DIFFERENCE IN HIM IN JUST THESE PAST TWO DAYS. HE HAS BEEN TALKING SO MUCH MORE AND YESTERDAY HE WAS JUST NAMING ALL OF HIS COLORS WHEN HE WOULD SEE ONE OUT OF THE BLUE. USUALLY AIDEN IS THE ONLY ONE DOING THINGS LIKE THAT, SO I THINK THEM BEING SPLIT UP IS GOING TO REALLY HELP HIM.

That is great about the boys! I am glad to hear they are adjusting well and doing good. I am dealing with the same problem even though I don't have twins. Lucie has ALWAYS had her big sister with her to do everything. And now that Kylie is at school all day and Lucie is having to do everything by herself she is having a hard time. I dread Lucie starting school b/c again she always had Kylie to walk her to her class and pick her up in the afternoons for car pool. Everything in all ours lives is changing!
