WELL, LET'S JUST SAY WE HAD A VERY LONG DAY YESTERDAY! FIRST WE WENT TO SEE OUR PEDITRICIAN TO DISCUSS AUSTIN'S PROBLEM. THEY WEIGHED HIM AND HE HAD ACTUALLY LOST ALMOST A POUND FROM HIS 18 MONTH VISIT. SO OF COURSE, RJ AND I ARE REALLY WORRIED NOW. HE RECOMMENED US TO HIS OLD GI DOCTOR THAT HANDLED ALL OF HIS LIVER ISSUES. WE CALLED RIGHT AWAY AND THANK GOODNESS THEY HAD AN APPOINTMENT AT 1:00. SO WE CARRIED AIDEN TO THE OFFICE TO LEAVE HIM WITH HIS GI GI AND HEADED TO DR. MESTRE'S. I AM SO GLAD WE DIDN'T CARRY AIDEN BECAUSE WE DIDN'T EVEN GET INTO A ROOM UNTIL 2:30. AFTER ALL THE QUESTIONING HE NEVER REALLY SAID WHAT IT WAS FOR SURE THAT WAS CAUSING HIM TO PROJECTILE VOMMIT LIKE HE DOES. HE GAVE US TWO TYPES OF MEDICINE TO GIVE HIM 4 TIMES A DAY THAT HELPS WITH HIS STOMACH AND ACID REFLUX. HE ALSO SENT US TO CHILDREN'S FOR LAB TEST TO CHECK HIS LIVER. WHEN HE SAID THE WORD "LIVER DISEASE" MY HEART SANK. I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT AT ALL, BUT BECAUSE OF HIS HISTORY HE CAN'T RULE THAT OUT. THEY HAVE ALSO SCHEDULED AN ULTRASOUND TO LOOK AT THE LIVER AGAIN AND AN UPPER GI TO SEE IF IT IS REFLUX AND HOW BAD IT IS. THEY ARE BOTH SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 18TH, SO IT WILL BE A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE WE KNOW ANYTHING! MY POOR BABY WAS SUCH A TROOPER THROUGH ALL OF THIS AND SUCH A GOOD BOY THE WHOLE TIME! I KNOW HE WAS SO WORN OUT BECAUSE HE DIDN'T GET A NAP, BUT YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN IT!
